πŸ“» Radio Reversal - Nick Chesterfield πŸ“»

This week’s episode of Radio Reversal host, Anna, was joined by SUPER SPECIAL CO-HOST, insurgent Blak journalist, activist & media-maker Nick Chesterfield.

In the lead up to Invasion Day, Radio Reversal were thinking through the media landscape of colonisation globally, from so-called Brisbane to Palestine. They played through some short protest recordings from the past couple of weeks here in Magan-djin and across South East Queensland, including part of a speech delivered during a picket outside Ferra Engineering on Wednesday 24 January by Sam Watson Jnr, a segment from Nasser Mashini's incredible speech at the Justice for Palestine rally on the Gold Coast on Saturday 13 January, and a moving spoken word piece from Haneen, delivered at the Justice for Palestine Magan-djin protest on Sunday 21 January. Then ended the show with the inimitable Ruby Wharton, talking through Invasion Day 2024 and where you need to be tomorrow ❀

❓ Zed Trivia | Subscriber Feedback❓

If you are familiar with the Zed Trivia section of the Zedletter you may know it to be a place filled with interesting facts about 4ZZZ or even some local history. However, I’d like to mix it up a little by adding in some Anonymous Feedback Submissions which we get from new subscribers to the station. I have to say some of them are really great and totally worth sharing.

Responding to the question: What can we do better? "Nothing, keep being real and genuine, swear, fart , it’s beautiful to hear all of everyone, not stereotypes!!"

We absolutely love to fart on air, keepin’ it real, it’s what we’re all about πŸ’¨

If you’d like some more Zed Trivia why don’t you listen to the 4ZZZ Podcast - From A to Triple Z
